The performance team had fun ringing in the year of the mouse with the kids at Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, TN. They especially enjoyed the surprise guests, Micky and Mini mouse 🙂
For Chinese New Years proper we were fortunate to have a great guerilla photographer and fellow student Charles Lowney to take some wonderful photos to document the event. Click here for more photos of Chinese Year 2020.
We performed at the Burgess Hotel in downtown Buckhead. The entire hotel is adorned with interesting cultural artifacts from around the world. We enjoyed interacting with the guests and the other performers (belly dancer / fire eaters).

On July 18th Delta hosted a reception to celebrate the addition of a direct flight from Atlanta to Shanghai. Key note speakers included Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, Chinese Consul General, the Honorable Li Qiangmin and the President and CEO of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, Hala Moddelmog. But our favorite part was letting the lion go for a ride in an old fashion prop plane in the museum next to the reception hall.
